Really love the beat and your synths. The only complaints I have is that the song is very repetitive, but that is the emphasis of deep house. Love the clashing of the different melodies. I think it pulls the song together, and gives it sort of a trancy feel. Keep it up!

TheeCoffee responds:

Thanks! :D

Really really awesome song! Loved the drops! How did you make those by the way? Freaking awesome. Also wanted to add that your melody was very well done and your synths sounded really good. The only complaint I have is that it is short, but that really isn't much of a complaint. Short and sweet is always good.

oswald responds:

How I made the drops? Get a snare sample, put a reverb effect on it, get a reverse cymbal sample, and a normal cymbal sample. Now, the reverse cymbal should be leading up to the snare, and then, the moment the snare plays, the normal cymbal plays. There's also a little bit of auto clips involved, but it's a small detail.

(Sorry if that didn't make any sense, if want you to, you can PM me about it. I'll try to give a more detailed explanation.)

Thanks man! I appreciate it!

The beginning of your song is phenomenal, and I love the synths! The beginning really sets the tone for the "running" mood of a dnb song. Some drum and bass just makes me want to attempt to do parkour, and I feel this is one of those songs. It reminds me of the style of The Quimists which is one of my all time favorite dnb groups. The synths are loud and in my face which I really like, and the crazy high hat, and the snare add soooooo much to it! Keep it up!

JonSyndicate responds:

Thanks very much :)

What I really like about this song is that the synths are very clear and precise. I feel that it all blends together into one huge master piece. Your melodies are really good, and your mastering of the audio is pretty well done, however I do hear a crackle or a pop now and again, but I think that is because my computer's audio system is crap. Love the bassy sawtooth synths that you used especially and I can tell that you put in a ton of effort into it. The song is a bit repetitive, but what song isn't? I feel that right when I start to get bored of one progression that it changes almost instantly. Overall, I really like your style and would love to see a lot more from you.

oswald responds:

Thank you very much! I guess the experimentation really paid off. :D
(If you're wondering where the bass is from, it's from Z3TA+ 2, I really recommend you get that VST when you get the chance.)

Really really like the sound you have going here. The oriental strumming in the beginning adds something I cannot put my finger on. The tone and mood of the song is very dark, and your comments suggests why. I really hope your friend makes it out ok. I cannot share your pain because I never had a suicidal friend. I hope it turns out ok for your friend.

MindlessVandalism responds:

I hope that too. Though, he is still alive and I think I still have a chance to change his mind. Thank you for your comment.

I like the synths and I like the drums in the background, but I have no idea what you are going for. To me, it just sounds like noise. I thought it would sound like something from deadmau like Telemiscommunications in the beginning but I was disappointed when it didn't go anywhere. Overall, I really like the sounds you used, and I love what you have, but it isn't much of a song.

piggemz responds:

tanks for the compliments and i appreciate the feedback.

and yeah it isn't supposed to be a song of course i guess i should have tagged it as experimental.

it's just supposed to be some ambient electronic noises not a deadmau5 or deadmau.. dance tune.

anywho, like i said tank you for the kind words.

Love the beat and I especially love the lead synths. If it was longer, it would have added a lot towards the song. I love what you have here though and would like to see more! Keep it up.

P.S I know that it's hard to have access to vocals, but adding vocals to a song that this would raise it up to a whole new level.

JackLiddle responds:

Thanks! I would've loved to finish this one... was pretty bummed when I lost it x-) I've wanted to try something with vocals for a veeery long time, but like you say, it's hard to find vocalists and, never having done it before, I wouldn't know what to do once I found one. I've never written lyrics or anything, but it's definitely something I'm interested in. I'm glad you like it so far!
Cheers for your feedback! I'm thinking about getting the full version of this software so I never have to worry about losing stuff again, so stay tuned! :D

A really awesome song! I hear a lot of Deadmau5 like synths in it, but what I hear more of is your own unique style. Love the transitions and especially love the reverbed piano. It adds a little something to the song that I cannot put my finger on. Your expertise of chord progression really shows as well. Overall, I really like the song a lot!

Cacola responds:

Thanks!
The mix of deadmau5 and my own style was exactly what I was going for, glad it turned out that way!
I never thought of myself as any expertise of chord progression at all, but thanks!

Love the really chill feel of this song! I can tell that you've put a ton of work in getting everything to sound on its own without clashing. Love the atmosphere of the synths in the background, and I love the chill sawtooth synths. When the drums kicked in, it added much more to the song, and I am always a sucker for tempo changes. Overall, your song is an awesome one. I would love to hear more from you!

RunningShadows responds:

Thank you! We'd love to have more to offer

Love the "glitches" in the audio as if its skipping. The audio sounds clear, and precise. Their is no doubt you know what your doing. The bass is deep, and rumbling which I love, and the synths aren't awkwardly fighting with the kick. The buildups were awesome, and not forced. Overall, I really liked what you did with this song. Keep it up! :D

Cacola responds:

Thanks! The glitch sounds were actually my 1st try at something like that, I'm glad they turned out well!
